Prof.(Dr).Rama krushna Das

Holds a Ph.D in Computer Science from Berhampur University, India. Retired as Deputy Director General (Scientist-G) from NIC Bhubaneswar, Odihsa, after successfully completing three years as State Informatics Officer, NICMizoram.His research and professional career spans about thirty six years of coding, research and capacity building in computing, e-Governance and related subjects. His expertise is primarily in the domains of Electronic Governance, Implementation Architectures and Strategy, Cloud Computing, AI and ML. He has published 52 peer-reviewed papers as journal articles, book chapters , and contributions to conference proceedings. He has presented many research papers and chaired technical sessions in international conferences in Indian and different countries like Macao(SAR Chaina), Cairo(Egypt),Bogota(Colombia), Beijing(China), Tallin(Estonia), New York(USA), Seoul(SouthKoria) Porto(Portugal) and many more. He is a regular programme committee member of International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance(ICEGOV) and International Conference on eDemocracy&eGovernment (ICEDEG). Received IEEE best paper award in ICIT 2014. Has successfully completed international course on “Smart Governance in Modern Society" Organized by the e-Governance Academy in Tallinn (Estonia) in 2020. Received GOLD award of excellence from NIC, HQ for promotion of eGovernance research in 2021. He is a life member of Computer Society of India(CSI), OITS and a professional member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), USA.
