Prof. Samarendra Choudhury
Prof. Samarendra Choudhury has more than 32 years of teaching experience at S.M.I.T., Berhampur, where he served as the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. His areas of specialization include Automobile Engineering, Machine Design, Manufacturing Technology, and other core subjects of Mechanical Engineering.
He encourages students to participate actively in academic and co-curricular programmes to strengthen their knowledge, practical skills, and overall competence. Currently, he serves as the Principal of our institution, providing dedicated leadership and guidance for both Diploma and Post-Diploma programmes.
